becoming a church member

Trinity Baptist Church is a self-sufficient body of believers in Jesus Christ. We are a cooperating member with the Union Baptist Association, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We are in full agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000.

We accept members in three ways: (1) upon one's statement that he or she is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and wishes to enter our fellowship as a candidate for water baptism, (2) upon one's statement that he or she is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and has been baptized by immersion, and (3) upon one's statement of faith that he or she is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and is coming to us by requesting a transfer of membership letter from a church of like faith.

Before an individual or a family comes for membership it is requested that an appointment be made with a member of the pastoral staff. This meeting allows potential members the opportunity to ask questions regarding Trinity Baptist Church. The pastoral staff wants every person to have a clear understanding regarding the mission and work of TBC. In addition to an appointment with pastoral staff, the church encourages potential members to attend the Connections Class in order to become better acquainted with the church's doctrinal positions and ministry activities.

Simply call the church office to arrange a meeting with a staff member or to learn when the next Connections Class will be offered. We are ready to serve your family. Please call 704-289-4194, and leave us a message and we will be prompt to get back in touch with you.

Thank you!
